My Review of the Grand Floridian Spa Massage as a Dude
My wife and I recently spent a couple hours at the Grand Floridian Spa to get separate massages. Here’s how my massage experience went from my perspective.
I’ve never really been a massage person until recently, and now I’m hooked.
My wife got me the Garden Custom 50 (minutes) and it was fantastic.
Here’s a photo tour of the entire process from check-in to relaxation, including some pics of the mens locker room, sauna, and hot tub.
Men’s hot tub and steam room
Overall, the facilities were very nice, clean, and modern. The massage itself was great and my massage therapist definitely worked on all of my problem areas.
The only thing missing is a co-ed relaxation experience because it would’ve been nice to use the hot tub or steam room with my wife. But that’s just a minor complaint. Honestly, I’m probably just spoiled by the co-ed hydrotherapy garden inside of Laniwai Spa at Disney’s Aulani Resort.
How much does a massage cost at the Grand Floridian Spa?
Here’s a quick breakdown of the prices for every massage treatment at the spa (not including gratuities):
- Garden Custom 50 = $180
- Garden Custom 80 = $245
- Garden Signature Massage = $295
- Massage for Two 50 min = $180 per person
- Massage for Two 80 min = $245 per person
- Prenatal 50 = $180
- Prenatal 80 = $245
- Tired Feet Rejuvenation 50 = $160
- Warm Stone 50 = $210
- Warm Stone 80 = $275
There are add-ons that you can add to your treatment, but I won’t go into detail here.
The cheapest massage treatment at the Grand Floridian Spa is the Garden Custom 50 which is where you can tell your massage therapist of any needs or problem areas that they need to focus on.
Is a Disney Massage worth it?
Absolutely.
There’s nothing more I can say about it. Yes, you’ll pay a premium price, but if you want to pamper yourself during your vacation, then spending a few hours at the spa is well worth the investment.
