There are five major hotel loyalty programs that have properties in or near Walt Disney World Resort. World of Hyatt Hilton Honors Marriott Bonvoy Wyndham Rewards IHG Rewards Club Here are some properties you can book using points:

First, join a loyalty program

The first step is to join a hotel loyalty program if you haven't done so already. If you are part of Marriott Bonvoy, then you can stay at two Walt Disney World Resorts - Swan & Dolphin.

Use a travel credit card

Generally, a hotel co-branded card or even a travel card can get you higher loyalty status and even free nights. Plus you'll get access to their travel portal which is where you can use your credit card points to book a hotel. Credit card travel portals include: American Express Travel Chase Ultimate Rewards Travel Capital One Travel

Swan & Dolphin

By staying at either of these three Marriott Bonvoy properties, you get usage of Disney Transportation, as well as extended park hours on select nights. Properties include: Swan = 50,000 points/night Swan Reserve = 50,000 points/night Dolphin = 50,000 points/nights

On or Off-Property?

You need to then figure out if you want to stay on property or off. On-property hotels include: JW Marriott Bonnet Creek = 50,000 Waldorf Astoria Orlando = 80,000 Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek = 30,000 points per night

Consider Disney Springs

Although not near the parks, these hotels are generally cheaper but still have some great benefits. You'll find some of the cheapest nightly point redemptions at these properties. Holiday Inn Orlando = 12,000 points Wyndham Garden = 15,000 points

Off property is good too

Like in Disney Springs, you'll also find some properties that can be booked with points on the cheaper side. Hyatt Grand Cypress = 12,000 points Radisson Country Inn & Suites = 30,000 points Orlando World Center Marriott = 40,000 points
