Let’s face it, there might be a day during your Disney trip when you don’t have any dining reservations.
Whether if that’s because you intentionally planned it that way, couldn’t find anything open, or you just forgot.
Either way, this is not a time to stress out because there are plenty of restaurants across Disney World property that can seat you without a dining reservation.
Because the last thing you’d want to do is go to McDonalds or someplace you truly don’t want to eat during your vacation.
But don’t worry, I got you covered.
Below, you’ll find some delicious restaurants where you can easily walk up to and get a table within minutes.
Disney Restaurants Where You Don’t Need a Reservation
These are some of the best Disney World restaurants where you can eat at without having to make an advanced dining reservation.
Just remember though, this is Disney World, and no matter how empty the restaurant or park, in general, might be, you will probably have to wait. It could be only 3 minutes, but still, it beats out not eating there in the first place.
So with that being said, let’s jump straight into the listing.

Epcot World Showcase is the Best
So if you’re really looking for the best food options where you can essentially walk up and be seated immediately (or within a reasonable time), Epcot’s World Showcase is probably your best bet.
Now the popular restaurants like Le Cellier and Chefs de France are guaranteed to be busy, but most restaurants are bound to have openings.
Now if it is during the super busy Holiday season like Christmas or Easter, you may not be in luck. But most of the time, you should be safe.
Watch Out for Rain Days
So one thing I started to notice is that whenever it’s a pretty rainy or wet day, most Disney resort guests tend to hang out at the hotel. So because of that, most restaurants tend to fill up pretty quickly. So if that is the case, you might experience a bit of a wait. So I recommend that you make a reservation as soon as possible on a rainy day at one the restaurants mentioned above.
Or worse case, you can eat at one of the resort cafeterias or food courts.
Super Last Minute Reservations
Okay let’s face it, time is money. Although most of these restaurants are pretty good for walk ins, reservations are always available at the last minute. So if you have a minute or have the My Disney Experience App on your smartphone, you can easily secure a dining reservation hours before you want to eat.
I know, I know, this article is about restaurants you don’t need a reservation, but honestly, you might get seated a little quicker if you have a reservation even if the restaurant is empty.
Just a little food for thought!
Best Time for Walk-Ins
So generally, the best time to walk in to Disney World restaurants is right when they open up or anywhere within an hour to closing. These times are usually the emptiest so you’re bound to be able to get seated.
Beaches and Cream for example is always packed but if you’re okay with eating at 10 pm, you can easily walk in and grab some late night grub.
Who needs sleep anyways, it’s Disney World!
Also, eating during lunch at resorts tend to be the best time since most people are out at the parks.
Most resort restaurants are pretty empty during lunch and afternoon times. Breakfast, not so much.
…
Well that’s it.

A brief description/review of these restaurants would have been nice. Now I’m wondering what’s wrong with those places that you can walk up and be seated instead of being crowded and needing to wait an hour for a table

Las Ventanas is no longer open.
Good luck going to Yak & Yeti without a reservation. It took me five months to get a reservation for that restaurant!

Don’t waste your time with Yak and Yeti even with a reservation. Subpar food and rude staff. Not a Disney feel at all! So many better choices out there.

How current is this list.

In Mexico Epcot, La Hacienda the San Angel is located across from pyramid, not inside.

Are they even allowing walk-ups anymore? We were told no, we had to use the new My Disney Experience app for every restaurant (except yucky counter service places) on our trip earlier this month. Super annoying. Might be temporary due to being short on staff – I hope so since it killed all spontaneity. Poor Disney experience.
