After ranking the best foods at both Disneyland Park and California Adventure, it’s time to be more specific and break down my top 10 Disneyland snacks of all time between both the parks.
So with that being said, let’s jump straight to my favorites.
Best Disneyland and California Adventure Snacks
Here are all the best Disneyland snacks listed in no particular order. But these are all so amazing that you absolutely must try them at least once.
1. Choco-Smash Candy Bar
Words cannot describe how much I love this candy bar.
The Chico-Smash is a massive candy bar filled with peanuts, caramel, nougat, and chocolate brownie, covered in milk chocolate. This picture doesn’t do the size of this thing justice.
This is by far the best snack available at Avengers Campus, beating out the Sweet Spiral Ration and Cosmic Cream Orb.
Location: Pym’s Test Kitchen (DCA)
2. Mickey Beignet
There is absolutely no way you can visit Disneyland Park without grabbing a bag of hot and freshly made, generously coated Mickey-shaped beignets.
Pair it with a mint julep and you have yourself a perfect match. Plus, be sure to try the seasonal beignet options when available. They are usually just as delicious.
Some people say that the ones from Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney is better, but I think that the Mickey ones have those beat.
Location: Mint Julep Bar (DL)
3. Funnel Cake Fries
The seasonal funnel cake fries option at California Adventure are endless. And 9 times out of 10, they never disappoint.
My personal favorite have been the carrot cake funnel fries followed by chocolate marshmallow.
Location: Award Wieners (DCA)
4. Churro
When it comes to iconic Disney snacks, the churro is king. Dole Whip gives it a run for it’s money but I think the churro selection, especially the seasonal varieties found throughout the year, makes the churro the most popular snack on this list.
There’s just something about Disneyland churros that they do right, especially compared to the hit and miss churros at Disney World.
Location: Churro stands scattered throughout both parks. (DL & DCA)
5. Dole Whip
The Dole Whip is one of the most iconic and extremely popular of all the snacks on this list. ‘Nuff said.
Location: Tiki Juice Bar or The Tropical Hideaway (DL)
6. Jack Jack Cookie Num Num
I swear, once you get the delicious whiff of chocolate chip cookies when you’re riding the Incredicoaster, this will be your first stop after riding.
The Jack Jack Cookie Num Num is a warm, gooey, chocolate chunk packed, cookie that’s big enough to share.
Also, there is also a shortbread and gluten free version available upon request which is pretty cool.
(and yes, I know this photo of the cookie is one that I took from Hollywood Studios lol)
Location: Jack Jack Cookie Num Nums (DCA)
7. Cozy Cone Soft Serve
I don’t care what anyone says, but this ice cream from Cozy Cone just hits different. It’s extra creamy, delicious, and never disappoints.
Location: Cozy Cone (DCA)
8. Matterhorn Macaroon
A coconut macaroon dipped in white chocolate, shaped as the Matterhorn. It’s such a basic snack but I personally try to get one every once in a while.
Location: Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe (DL)
9. Tigger Tail
I swear this is one of the most underrated snacks at Disneyland only because it’s tucked away so deep into the park that some people, myself included, ever go to this bakery.
It’s marshmallows covered in caramel topped with sugar crystals and chocolate tiger stripes.
Location: Pooh’s Corner Bakery (DL)
10. Seasonal Funnel Cake
The seasonal funnel cakes in Disneyland come in all types of flavors and combinations that it almost seems like a new one comes out every two weeks.
The red velvet funnel cake with strawberry ice cream was next level.
Location: Hungry Bear Restaurant (DL)
11. Churro Toffee
If you love toffee and churros, this is a perfect combination that you gotta try at least once.
This is a crunchy toffee dipped in white chocolate and generously coated in cinnamon sugar. This handmade snack is magical.
Location: Trolley Areas (DCA), Candy Palace (DL), and Marceline’s Confectionery (Downtown Disney)
Honorable Mention: Cold Brew Black Caf
Although not technically a snack, I think that this is such a popular drink, especially on TikTok, that I believe you should try at least once. I’m not a huge coffee drinker but it you get extra cream cheese, this cold brew is pretty good.
The Cold Brew Black Caf is a Joffrey’s cold brew topped with sweet cream cheese and chocolate cocoa puffs.
Location: Kat Saka’s Kettle (DL)
…
How did I do? Did I miss something so crazy good that it’s a shame it was left off this list? If so, please let me know by leaving a comment.

Reading this honestly you need to do more research first of all the bignets are better from Ralph brennan’s jazz kitchen. And second for being someone that writes about food you really dont know your food. Example it’s called a Matterhorn “MACAROON’ not a “MACARON” food 101 a macaroon is made with egg whites and a macaron is made with almond flour if you love food to write about it dont insult it.

Maybe they call it a Macaron…don’t diss people who are trying to bring others information. That’s not very cool and how would you know what Disney makes their MACARONS with? If that’s what they are, then that’s what they are….do you work there?

The peanut butter “sandwiches” are my absolute favorite! It’s a light whipped peanut butter concoction on the inside with peanuts, all covered in chocolate. Omg 😆 They’re at the candy palace and also at Pooh corner.
Also on Fridays, candy palace makes pecan nuttles and they are to die for!!
