Ohana is the best restaurant at Disney World – here’s why

Last updated on Feb 22, 2021 by Adam Bryan. This post may contain affiliate links.

I don’t care what anyone says, but Ohana located at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, is the best restaurant at Walt Disney World.

Ask any person that’s been to Disney World what they’re favorite dining experience has ever been and 9 times out of 10, they’ll mention Ohana.

Sure Victoria and Alberts has the prestigious accolades but when it comes down to pure dining enjoyment, all you can eat meats, and that oh so famous dessert, there’s no contest.

If you don’t believe it, here’s a quick rundown why I think it’s honestly the best, most delicious dining experience out there.

You can watch the video below!

And if you hate videos, here’s just a quick rundown of a typical Ohana dining experience.

Ohana is the best – here’s why I think so

    Ohana Entrance

You walk in and you’re greeted immediate by a fire pit that’s cooking all the delicious meats.

Once you get to your table, you’re given pineapple coconut bread.

Then comes the mixed greens salad with lilokoi dressing.

After said comes a big skillet/bowl of all the goods – teriyaki noodles, stir fried vegetables, honey-coriander chicken wings, and pork dumplings tossed in a garlic ginger sauce.

    Ohana Appetizers

Then the true all-you-can eat meat experience begins. First up, it’s the sweet-n-sour chicken.

Then comes the szechuan sirloin steak.

And finally the spicy grilled peel-n-eat shrimp. Then repeat if necessary.

And once you’re about to throw in the towel, out comes the main attraction, the ‘Ohana Bread Pudding à la mode topped with warm caramel sauce and bananas.

And that my friend is why ‘Ohana is just pure perfection. And to be honest, it’s not that hard to get a reservation.
