Hibachi perfection.
Those are the two words needed to describe my mouthwatering experience at Teppan Edo, a hibachi style restaurant located in the Japan Pavilion at Epcot.
And let me be the first to tell you that I never even knew about this view at Epcot. Sure I’ve seen it hundreds of times but never did I think to actually go upstairs. WOW.
I actually didn’t order this but the kind gentleman seated next to me let me take a picture of his 4 Japanese beers including some edamame.
The first thing you’re given is an Asian salad that features a soy sauce dressing and fresh greens.
Then your chef comes out and starts to put on a show. From insane knife and spatula tricks to onion volcanos, it’s a spectacle for the senses.
Then comes the udon noodles and fresh veggies.
Mmmmm.
Then your server provides you with some of the best brown rice I’d ever had. Didn’t even see that coming.
Then you’re given two sauces. “Japanese ranch” for your meat and a soy ginger sauce for your noodles. That ranch is killer!
Then comes the cooking and preparation of your meats and seafood. I went with the steak and chicken combo and I have zero regrets about that choice.
Here’s a few of the kid’s meal steak options being cooked for the 3 kids at our table.
Then comes the juicy chicken breast filets.
Oh yes.
Good, but not as good as that steak.
Then comes some fresh shrimp.
Then finally the tender and juicy strip steak get’s some loving.
My steak was cooked medium and was so tender and juicy. I might have to go with medium rare next time just to get a little extra tenderness in the meat.
Almost done.
Perfection.
Dip the steak in the Japanese ranch and grab a spoonful of steak and rice and you’ll be in hibachi heaven.
I promise.

I am planning a trip in July 2017. As this is one of the restaurants I was interested in, this was extremely helpful! Thank you
Susan
Any idea on what’s in that dressing? It was so salty and sweet..to die for really.
