Don’t get mad at me, but these are the 10 worst rides and attractions at Disney World, in my opinion.
Worst Rides at Disney World
I hate being negative, but not everything Disney puts out is a hit. Here are my least favorite attraction at Disney World that I generally almost never ride it anymore.
10. Tower of Terror
I don’t care.
Say what you want, BUT this ride is pretty weak. Not because of it’s theming, but 100% of the amount of drops you experience.
When directly comparing this to Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout at California Adventure, you’ll quickly notice how little Tower of Terror drops.
At least in California you’re being thrown around constantly. From the moment you pull on the yellow straps, the ride starts just a mere seconds later.
But in Florida it’s a solid 90 seconds of you going forward through a hotel, wasting valuable time that should’ve been spent with you holding on for dear life. But hey, that’s just me…
9. Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run
This has nothing to do with the ride as a whole because everything is so immersive and detailed.
I mean who doesn’t want to actually pilot the legendary Millennium Falcon?
But unfortunately, there are only two pilot seats and the other four are gunners and engineers. If you aren’t the pilots, this ride is so damn boring and depressing.
8. Kali River Rapids
Boring. That’s literally all I can say about this ride. It’s nothing compared to how intense and wet Popeye and Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges is at Universal Orlando.
7. Journey Into Imagination with Figment
Sue me, but I really just never understood the hype of Figment or this ride. It is good air conditioning at least.
6. Na’vi River Journey
It’s not a terrible ride. It’s beautiful and immersive. Plus, the animatronic’s movement is incredible. But this ride always has a 70 minute wait. And for what you get on this ride, it sure ain’t worth 70 minutes.
5. Peter Pan’s Flight
To this day, I have no idea why this ride is so popular. Like yes it’s iconic but you’ll never catch me on this even if the wait is 30 mins (which never happens).
4. Prince Charming Regal Carrousel
If the line is short, then sure, it’s worth taking a ride. But honesty, if your time is limited, this is always a skip.
3. “it’s a small world”
It’s a ride you do once and only once. Honestly, unless it’s the original at Disneyland, you’ll never catch me on this ride, even if it’s 98 degrees out.
2. Mission Space: Orange
Don’t get me wrong, this ride is so unique and intense. But I don’t know if I’m just getting old, but Mission Space Orange is so hard on my body nowadays.
This ride is always a hard pass for me. And don’t even get me started on wasting your time going on Green.
1. TriceraTop Spin
Just a worse Dumbo.
…
So there you have it —those are the rides at Disney World that just might leave you screaming for all the wrong reasons.
Hang on tight and remember to keep your expectations in check, because not every ride will be a 10/10.
