Disney Cruises are jam-packed with amazing things to do as well as incredible foods that it’s pretty easy to miss some awesome experiences during your sailing.
Well to help you make the most of your next (or first ever) Disney Cruise, here’s a list of 50 things you must do or try on your next sailing.
From fun cruise events and shows, to experiencing incredible culinary options, or even renting a cabana on Disney’s Castaway Cay, this bucket list will ensure that you will leave your cruise without feeling like you missed out on something.
Just note that most of these bucket list items can be experienced on every Disney Cruise, regardless of itinerary, while just a handful are location specific.
So with that being said, here’s my ultimate Disney Cruise checklist.
Disney Cruise Bucket List
Here’s everything you gotta do on your next sailing. (Some experiences listed below may not be available due to the pandemic, but this listing will be updated accordingly as things change.)
- Ride the AquaDuck
- Watch an amazing, Broadway-style show in the Walt Disney Theater
- Book a dinner at Remy
- Book a brunch at Palo
- Decorate your cabin door (all stateroom doors are magnetic expect for Concierge Rooms)
- Join in on the fun at trivia
- Dance at a deck party (Sail Away Party included)
- Win at bingo
- Take a photo with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Pluto in their cruise attire
- Order multiple entrees at dinner
- Order all the desserts at dinner
- Book a room with a verandah to admire the ocean views
- Book a Concierge Room
- If the timing is right, watch a first-run Disney movie
- Do the Castaway Cay 5K
- Swim with the stingrays on Castaway Cay
- Rent a cabana
- Play mini golf on Goofy’s Sports Deck
- Make some three pointers at the basketball court on Goofy’s Sports Deck
- Order free room service
- Watch On Demand Movies in your stateroom
- Watch a movie on the funnel vision big screen on the pool deck
- Catch a sports game on the funnel vision big screen on the pool deck
- Go to one of the adult’s only game shows in the evening
- Meet a princess
- Get a massage (either on the ship or in a cabana in Serenity Bay on Castaway Cay
- Buy an exclusive Disney Cruise souvenir
- Take a mixology class or go to a wine/beer/champagne tasting event
- Try all the unique flavors of soft serve on the ship
- Get your favorite characters autograph
- Take a class on how to make towel animals
- Chill in a hot tub overlooking the ocean
- Relax on the 18 and over deck including the cool satellite pool
- Eat all the stone crab that you can at Cabana’s
- Get an official portrait done in the ship’s lobby
- Dress up for dinner, especially on formal night
- Get a souvenir at all your port stops
- Do a port excursion
- Sing at karaoke
- Watch the fireworks at sea
- Explore every nook and cranny on the boat
- Order a drink at every adult-area bar and lounge
- Workout at the ship’s fitness center to admire to cool views
- On longer cruises, go to a non-Disney comedy or magic show
- Listen to live music in the lobby or in the adults-only area
- Watch the Diaper Dash in the lobby atrium
- Even if you hate the beach, make sure you get off at Castaway Cay
- If you have kids, make sure they go to one of the awesome kid/teen clubs
- Walk around the top decks at night
- Go on a holiday cruise (Christmas or Halloween)
- Book a Concierge level stateroom on the Disney Wish
- Sail on a themed cruise (Marvel Day at Sea, Star Wars Day at Sea)
