Essentially, at these outdoor quick service spots, you just walk up to the window and grab something to eat or snack on.

Disney Cruise Lines is known for their rotational dining which means that during each night of your cruise, you will be assigned a different restaurant.
Every Disney Cruise ship has 3 main dining restaurants, all of which are uniquely themed.
Every night during your cruise, you will be assigned a certain table service restaurant for dinner, a table number, and a dining time. Plus, your wait staff will follow you from restaurant to restaurant every night.
Each restaurant will normally feature steak, chicken, pasta, salad, soup, and dessert, just to name a few options. Plus, some are open for breakfast which features a American breakfast favorites like omelettes, pancakes, and waffles.

- Arendelle A Frozen Dining Adventure – Celebrate the engagement of Queen Anna and Kristoff during this musical dining experience that features Nordic cuisine. The food is unique so picky eaters may have some issues with the menu. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with the Swedish meatballs and egg noodles.
- Worlds of Marvel – Assemble with characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe while enjoying foods from iconic locations found in the MCU. I love the scallop pasta and chicken schnitzel.
Buffets Aboard Disney Cruise Lines
Would it be a Disney Cruise (or any cruise) without a buffet?
Thankfully, aboard every Disney Cruise ship, you’ll find a buffet-style restaurants that’s open for breakfast, lunch, and sometimes dinner (as a table-service restaurant).
There are currently two buffets:

Every single Disney Cruise ship offers complimentary room service 24 hours a day.
You can find fresh fruits, sandwiches, continental breakfast, desserts, french fries, chicken nuggets, pizza, paninis, wine, beer, juices, coffee, and my personal favorite, all you can eat Mickey Ice Cream Bars!
Just use your stateroom phone and all these delicious eats will be sent to your room. It’s perfect for any late night snacking, that’s for sure.
Adult-Exclusive Dining Aboard Disney Cruise Lines
Each Disney Cruise ship has at least one, adults-exclusive dining option on board.
The restaurants are elegant and the overall quality of the food is top-notch. As a result, dining here does come at an additional fee on top of your base cruise ship fare.
When dining at one of these restaurants, be sure to adhere to their strict formal dress code. And if you don’t have any acceptable shoes, suit jackets, or attire, be sure to let the maitre d’ know and they’ll gladly let you borrow whatever you need at no extra cost!

Palo (Disney Magic, Wonder, Dream, and Fantasy)
Palo is the original adult exclusive restaurant found aboard all Disney Cruise ships.
Palo’s menu features fine Italian cooking that will transport you to the heart of Italy as you pamper your palate with freshly prepared specialties like seared sea scallops, butternut agnolotti (incredible), classic pastas, and the fan-favorite, chocolate soufflé with vanilla bean ice cream and chocolate sauce.
Palo is open for brunch (on most sea days) and dinner.
Palo Steakhouse (Disney Wish)
Palo Steakhouse is a Cogsworth (from Beauty and the Beast) inspired adult-exclusive restaurant that features a timeless selection of Italian wines, exquisite Italian dishes, some of the world’s finest steaks, and fan-favorite desserts. Read my full review here.
Remy (Disney Dream and Fantasy)
Remy is a Parisian inspired adults-exclusive restaurant that features gourmet selections crafted by Chef Scott Tunnel and 3 Michelin-starred chef Arnaud Lallement.
The menu consists of multiple tasting courses which can last a couple hours.
Remy is open for a champagne brunch, dessert experience, a wine tasting experience, and dinner.
Enchanté (Disney Wish)
Enchanté is a Beauty and the Beast inspired adult-exclusive restaurant that features seasonal, French-inspired cuisine.
When you dine here, you’ll experience a unique, multi-course menu crafted by 3 Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement.
This fine dining restaurant is open for a champagne brunch, a desserts-only experience, and dinner.
Nightclubs, Bars, and Lounges Aboard Disney Cruise Lines
Onboard every Disney Cruise ship, you’ll find a collection of bars, lounges, and even nightclubs.
Please note that alcohol is not included on Disney Cruise Lines, so everything will need to be purchased for an additional fee. This also applies to some of the food and snack options offered at the pubs and bars.
Some of these locations are open to everyone until the nightfall when it becomes After Hours, meaning it’s adults-only.

- Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge – By far the coolest lounge on any Disney Cruise ship. The Hyperspace Lounge is an immersive lounge that features signature cocktails and cocktails inspired by Star Wars. In this space, you can watch as you hyperspace to level planets in the Star Wars universe.
- The Bayou – a festive watering hole inspired by The Princess and the Frog that features live music, cocktails, and warm beignets
- Keg & Compass – a 1800s Norse inspired pub that features daily actives for the entire family as well as multiple televisions to watch live sports
- Nightingale’s – a whimsical lounge that features live piano music in the evening
- Cove Cafe – an adult’s only lounge that serves specialty drinks, wine, coffee, and tea throughout the day
- The Rose – a lavish, Beauty and the Beast inspired lounge for pre or post-dinner cocktails situated at the entrance of Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté

The Concierge Lounge found on this ship is immaculate compared to the other ships’.
Special Dietary Restrictions
I truly believe that Disney is the king when it comes to handling special dietary needs.
Whether if you’re at the parks or on any of the five Disney Cruise ships, you will truly be taken care of. At any dining establishment, whether if it’s a quicks service spot or a table service restaurant, be sure to let one of the Cast Members know that you have a special dietary need and they’ll be sure to accommodate you to the best of their abilities.

Free Soda and Drink Stations
On the main pool deck, the buffet, and Castaway Cay barbecue locations, you’ll have access to complimentary self service soda, coffee, water, iced tea, hot chocolate, and ice.
Just grab a cup and drink up! You can even bring one of these cups to the ice cream spot and get soft serve in a cup instead of a cone.
Disney’s Castaway Cay Food and Drinks
On Castaway Cay, there are three buffet-style locations where you can grab something to eat or drink on Disney’s private island in the Bahamas:
- Cookie’s – open air buffet that serves burgers, hot dogs, pasta salad, fresh fruit, cookies, soft serve ice cream, soda, chicken, mahi mahi, veggies, and other good eats
- Cookie’s Too – the same options are Cookie’s
- Serenity Bay BBQ – an adults only buffet located at Serenity Bay that serves ribeye steak, burgers, ribs, chicken, mahi mahi, pasta salad, veggies, fruits, soft service ice cream, and other good eats
